RAMONA: Tell us more about your photography style!

NATASCHA: I am a young photographer from Berlin, Germany. I started shooting Editorial Photography about a year and a half ago. Photography is a great balance for me since I get to express my creativity. I love clean und natural as well as creative editorial make-up looks. That’s why my portfolio is a mix of creative beauty editorials and clean pictures.

RAMONA: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

NATASCHA: My biggest goal in photography is getting published in VOGUE ... I hope that I can do it within the next 5 years.

RAMONA: What a fun and clean editorial! How did you get the idea for it and what inspired you?

NATASCHA: It has always been my goal to get published in Lucy’s magazine and so I started to work on a submission. I looked at what your next theme is and I planned this concept with that theme in mind!

RAMONA: The model is perfect for this idea, she has such a beautiful smile! How do you pick your models?

NATASCHA: For my editorial shootings I only work with agency models. I discovered Nehle at Kea models and immediately knew that she fits perfectly into my shooting concept and that I would like to work with her. And...It was the right choice! She is naturally so beautiful and she’s also a very happy person so it was easy to make this shoot happen.

RAMONA: Tell us three fun facts about this editorial:

NATASCHA: 1. We still find glitter particles in the studio today! 2. The studio was about 15 square meters. We mastered hair, make-up, photo set and catering on this area. I’m proud of you girls! 3. It was the longest shooting day I’ve ever had. We produced 3 editorials on that day and worked a total of about 12 hours. The last picture was taken at 11:00 pm in the evening.

RAMONA: Do you have a favorite editorial that you created?

NATASCHA: First, I have to say that I love all of my editorials. But an absolute favorite is the ‘‘Water’’ editorial with Nicola and Stella. We shot it with a small pool in the studio. It is one of my first photoshoots! It was a challenge to work with the water and the reflections, but that’s the magic of this editorial. I am very proud of the results and we were a great team.
