Glen Lodge is the perfect setting for your perfect event – Set in more than 180 acres of beautiful undulating Norfolk countryside, the aptly named Glen Lodge stands high above a steep sided, tree lined valley and is the focal point of this unique club. Our Idyllic setting provides a beautiful backdrop for your event.

Glen Lodge has been a well established Wedding & Event venue for over 10 years, holding many beautiful Summer Events in our Marquee, giving us the inspiration to build a permanent venue for all year round availability. Our new venue, the Barnard Suite, boasts a beautiful oak effect structure for a natural and stunning appearance. Filled with natural light from large glass windows and doors, it will fit perfectly with any theme, decoration or colour scheme. One of its focal points is the iconic veranda overlooking the Bawburgh Golf Course and Yare Valley. For the hot summer months, the Barnard Suite provides air conditioning complimenting to the light and natural atmosphere, and for the cooler months, our heating and warm lighting will give your event a cosy and comfortable ambiance.

Our Event Team will assign you your own dedicated coordinator who will work closely with you to ensure that any requirements are met and your special event is just as you imagined. Our bar and catering team are experienced and passionate about what they do, meaning the service you receive from beginning to end will be first class.

The Barnard Suite can seat up to 120 guests but with further seating facilities available in our Clubhouse and Conservatory where we can accommodate more guests if required, this is also the perfect space for guests to take a quiet moment or to display sweet tables, photobooths, present tables and more.The room itself has an option partitioning wall to allow you to separate your space if required. We also have a delightful veranda and patio area with a garden that looks out over the 18th green. All of our rooms have disabled access.

All of our catering is provided by our inhouse catering team who are passionate about food. Using seasonal, local produce, our menus are carefully designed by our chefs to provide a wide selection of mouth-watering dishes. We offer a variety of catering options, including canapes, carvery, sit down meals, BBQs, hot rolls, afternoon tea and buffets.

We always recommend meeting with one of our Event Coordinators who will run through the vast possibilities, options and ideas available at Glen Lodge. We are happy to discuss any requests and try our best to accommodate any requirements that you may have.
