Hayling Golf Club is situated amongst the sandhills of the South Western coast of Hayling Island and is one of the few seaside courses where the sea is in view from most holes. It has played host to many tournaments and championships throughout the club’s history.

the SSSI site is home to many varieties of plants and wildlife. the panoramic views of the english Channel, the yachts in the Solent and Langstone Harbour provide relief even during the worst rounds of golf.

The undulating fairways and fast greens drain very rapidly even after the heaviest rainfall allowing golf to be played throughout the year. at 6,529 yards off the white tees the course is not long but it can be really challenging in the prevailing south-westerly winds.

Deep bunkers and gorse lined fairways punish those wayward shots but the extra run on the ball on fairways flatters the driving.

Significant investment over the years has maintained a first-class golf experience for members and visitors alike. our links course is rated among the top 100 courses in england, ranked 60th in 2019, and is highly rated in the list of links courses throughout the British Isles.

Visitors from far and wide come to play the course as it provides such a change from the parkland and heathland courses throughout the uK.
