How To Find Us

Established in 1894, Lansdown Golf Club is a private members club situated on the outskirts of the beautiful Georgian City of Bath.

The superbly conditioned parkland course, originally designed by Harry Colt, is built on the southerly edge of the Cotswold escarpment. The 6,394-yard, par 71 course with a slope rating of 124 has something to challenge golfers of all abilities. Built on a plateau, it is a pleasurable walk with no hills to negotiate and is an ideal venue for visiting golfers and societies large and small. Drainage is excellent so the course stays open and dry all year round. On a fine day there are breath taking views over the Bristol Channel to the Brecon Beacons. The clubhouse itself offers a 19th bar, a spacious lounge and restaurant and a large patio overlooking the 1st tee. The club is renowned for its friendly, welcoming atmosphere in which golfers, social members, guests and visitors can unwind. Lansdown Golf Club is a “Community Amateur Sports Club” so is run very much for the benefit of its members and the local community. The Club is Safe Golf accredited for safeguarding the welfare of children and young people as well as adults at risk for a safe and positive golf experience. We work hard to ensure we provide everyone with a fantastic service so come and see what makes us special.
