Being a member of Lewes Golf Club confers many benefits and pleasures allowing you to play golf and socialise in a very friendly, relaxed environment. There is a wide range of qualifying competitions to take part in. As a member you can sign up for these on the club notice boards, through the Pro Shop or on-line. Medals and Stablefords take place regularly both midweek and at weekends. There are various trophy competitions, in many different formats, and eclectic competitions run throughout the winter and summer. Over the season there are also a number of knockout competitions – both singles and pairs– for golfers of all abilities. So if you want to be challenged in your golf Lewes Golf Club is perfect for you.

On the other hand, if you just want to play social golf, that’s fine too.

The course can accommodate golf at 18 holes, 13 holes, 12 holes and 9 holes for short competitions.

Members can put their names forward to represent Lewes in a wide number of men’s and mixed matches - played both home and away. The Club enters teams in both the Scratch and Handicap County knockout events. In 2016 the Scratch Team won the Oliver Plate match play competition. Teams also take part in a number of events at other local clubs.
