I jOINED NORTH LEIGH FC IN 2021 AS CLUb WELFARE OFFICER (CWO) TO WITNESS AN AMAzING SEASON AND THE bEST GAMES OF FOOTbALL I HAvE EvER WITNESSED bOTH IN YOUTH AND ADULTAGES, SECOND ONLYTO MY bELOvED NOTTINGHAM FOREST WINNING AT WEMbLEY.

My role as CWO in this club is to promote high standards of safeguarding/welfare, encourage

good practice throughout the years and ensure all members of the club, volunteers, staff who are working with children and/or adults at risk are recruited safely and in line with FA requirements.

Although we all want things to go well and down a positive path, I am a realist, things don’t always go as we’d all like.
