The Oaks Golf Centre in Carshalton is a family owned 27 hole golf facility, open to the public seven days a week and offering a floodlit covered Driving Range, Practice and Putting areas, and a Clubhouse with Bistro and Function Suites.
The Oaks is situated in the middle of commuter land with ease of access but provides an oasis of calm, benefitting from sweeping greens and tranquil ambience. Our golf courses are blessed with being built on some of the best free draining land allowing play to continue uninterrupted all year round with spectacular views over London from many holes.
The main club house was rebuilt completely in 2007 and offers a bistro and bar together with first-class conference and banqueting facilities. The Oaks is proud to say that it is fully licensed for civil wedding ceremonies. Named after the original manor house which was built on the property which also gave its name to the horse race run annually at nearby Epsom Downs Racecourse, The Oaks was one of the great sporting country houses of 18th century England.
The Centre is encircled by superb trees including oaks, silver birch and beech and is home to a wide variety of birds and wildlife. It adjoins the famous “Oaks Park” and still boasts some of the finest oak trees in the county.
At 33.57 Hectares Oaks Park is a mixture of landscapes, including formal horticulture, natural chalk meadows, woodlands and informal parkland.
There are a number of interesting walks based in Oaks Park and some of those pass through the park walls.
