URBANIZATION PROJECT
The project consists of designing and building a subdivision in the city of Colima. The rapid population growth in the city has pushed investors to develop new urban projects. Villa de Álvarez Colima. México.
Thisrepresentsagrowthofthecitythatinmostcasestranslates into an increase in the cost of services and a greater environmental impact. As a design strategy, a subdivision is proposed that takes advantage of the maximum population density allowed by state laws. Therefore the project includes a diversity of housing typologies ranging from single-family housing, duplexes, to lots for vertical multifamily housing. All encouraging the use of bicycles through a network of bike paths that connects the subdivision and connects with other bike path networks. In addition, public spaces ceded by the developer are contemplated where the activities that are carried out will depend on the inhabitants in order to give greater identity to the subdivision.
