PORTFOLIO LUIS PEDRO TITUS
Luis Pedro Titus Ruiz luisptitus@gmail.com +502 4164-4836 While growing up, all I wanted was to create. It didn’t matter if it was through photography, sketching, painting, building or imagining. So I became an architect, to continue creating a better world.

“Protagonizing cultural heritage” is the premise that gave rise to FRA/NGO. It seeks to open as much as possible so that the tank is visible at all times regardless of the location of the users. Its facades lean inward, creating a sense of direction for the person to look towards the tank. Throughout the project there are various elements that direct the user to the focus of the project. From FRA/NGO’s own negative space, other strategies are the open interior façade, giving an introspective character to the architecture; The use of reflective material on the ground floor makes the visual interaction maximum, since from various points the view is with the tank.

The names of the buildings, U, V, W, X, Y, Z arise from a programming language and variables. The first building (W) consists of amenities, office, administration, restaurant and supplies. This variable is used to denote the beginning of a new programming (write) and starts from scratch, in the same way that it is the entrance to the project and a transition space for the rest of the hotel and nature.

The concept of union is mainly given by the spatial experience and the routes. A program divided into four parts was developed: Training Center, Cultural Center, Administrative Area and Public Space, the latter visually relating the existing equipment through visuals.
The project is developed through 4 volumes that rotate through a union at a vertex, allowing a visual and experimental direction in which the terraces and interior floors are connected.
The façade occurs in a binary rhythm that unifies the project, having panels that are passed from one level to another. The public space, as a pivotal part of the project, is placed on the terraces, which have different furniture, allowing for a variety of uses.
