Sources for the diffusion of light are the primary focus of Lukas Lighting, which designs and manufactures an innovative, stylish, and wide range collection of interior lighting products. With over 30 years of experience in providing designers and architects the essential tools to outfit residential, hospitality and commercial interiors, our capabilities are uniquely focused on assisting the design community from conceptual drawings, engineering and manufacturing, to installation with an unparalleled custom focus. TERMS & CONDITIONS

Prices All prices are listed at net to the trade. Prices are F.O.B. Long Island City, New York factory and do not include shipping, packaging, storage and taxes. Due to changes in the cost of labor and materials, all prices are subject to change without notice prior to confirmation of the order. Order Procedure Lukas requires all orders in writing to avoid error and/or duplication. All purchase orders must be completed as outlined in caption “How to Order” - located in the general information page provided within the Price List. Lukas’ order confirmation is based on information provided in purchase order, and is intended as a complete and final statement of the terms and conditions of agreement between Lukas and purchaser. Confirmations of order are inclusive of: products, packaging, shipping charges and applicable taxes. A 50% deposit is required on all order confirmations prior to production. QUOTATIONS All prices quoted to customers are subject to change without notice and at any time during the quotation process. All quotes are conditional in nature and solely based upon information and specifications provided by the customer at the time of issuance. The basis or scope of work may not be fully revealed or resolved at the time quotes are provided. Therefore, Lukas cannot be held responsible for errors, omissions, and the quoted costs. Ac c r e d i t e d O p e n Ac c o u n t s A 50% deposit is required upon confirmation of order to commence production. Due to custom nature, Lukas requires a 50% deposit on all orders regardless of open account terms. Lukas may cancel or change credit terms at its discretion and reserves the right to request advance payment at any time. Change Order Change orders must be received in writing and are subject to review and approval by authorized personnel. Order will be reconfirmed with applicable charges. Ca n c e l l at i o n o f O r d e r Order cancellation will be accepted providing notification is received in writing and directed to Customer Service within five (5) business days from the date order confirmation is received. If timely notification is not received, products will remain in production and a restocking charge will apply: • 50% on All Standard Product • 70% on All Modified Standard Product • 100% on All Custom Product Custom orders in production, after drawing approval, may be irrevocable.

S h i pp i n g Dat e s A scheduled shipping date provided in confirmation is our best approximation of the ship date, but shall not be deemed to represent a fixed or guaranteed shipment date. All shipping dates are based on timely receipt of pertinent order information and balance due. Shipments may be subject to delays due to conditions beyond Lukas’ control including, but not exclusive of acts of god, strikes, wars, riots, fire, inability to obtain materials, or governmental regulations or restrictions. Lukas will not be held responsible for any damage or loss resulting from delayed shipments or inability to ship for reasons stated above. Lukas selects the best carrier and method of shipment, unless specific instructions are submitted in writing. Co m m o n Ca r r i e r D e l i v e r y Unless specified, all common carrier deliveries are dock side. Inside Delivery Inside trucking delivery services are available upon request and are subject to charges which vary according to size, weight, location and distance. Freight Claims All merchandise is carefully examined and in perfect condition prior to packaging and when given to carrier. At that point, the carrier assumes responsibility for safe delivery. When delivered, it is the responsibility of the recipient to inspect the condition of container for visible markings, damage and/or detection of rattling indicating concealed damage. Any apparent packaging damages must be noted by purchaser on delivery receipt. Original carton must be retained with all packaging for inspection by carrier. Purchaser must report damage to appropriate carrier and Lukas: • Common Carrier within the following 5 business days. Lukas may be called for assistance in filing a claim. • U.P.S. local office, at which time the merchandise will be picked up U.P.S. and returned to Lukas. Returns All products are made to order. Therefore, Lukas cannot accept returns of shipped goods. However, return authorizations will be granted if requested in writing under the following conditions: • Incorrect Merchandise • Defect (refer to warranty) I n vo i c i n g A sales invoice is forwarded three weeks prior to scheduled ship date and includes the following information: (1) restatement of order confirmation, (2) affirmation of scheduled ship date and (3) request for balance to be paid in full. All unpaid balances will be subject to an interest charge at a rate of 1-1/2% per month, billed to customer’s account, and must be paid in full prior to shipment. -2-

I n s ta l l at i o n All steel work and parts necessary to support ceiling mounted and wall mounted light fixtures are to be supplied by the customer or installing contractor. Methods of support for fixtures that will permit attachment to structural steel or through bolts in concrete construction should be favored. Do not use concrete or masonry anchors in direct tension. Contractor is responsible for site specific support details and is to provide certificate of such by a professional engineer licensed in applicable state. The certificate should be issued to the owner for record. All requirements for the installation of fixtures are not noted in catalog. It is suggested that the fixtures be reviewed by a qualified professional who can assist with making decisions regarding electrical, structural and mechanical requirements, prior to the installation. Although fixtures may be installed in an existing space of similar type, mounting requirements need to be checked. G u a r a n t e e / Wa r r a n t y Lukas warrants to the purchaser, for one year only, from the date of purchase, that its products are free from defects on material or workmanship. Lukas’ obligation is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of the product only after prior written authorization has been granted. This warranty shall not apply to any products which have been: • Repaired or altered outside of the factory or without our knowledge; • Subjected to abuse, negligence or accident; • Used in a manner contrary to accepted normal use. Costs incurred in the installation or re-installation of warranted products will not be covered by Lukas. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, and without limiting the generality of the foregoing phrase, excludes any implied warranty of merchantability. Also, there are no warranties which extend beyond the description of the product on the company’s literature setting forth the terms of the sale. Effective January 1, 2012 Lukas reserves the right to change prices and/or specifications without prior notification.

G R A N D H YAT T / N E W YO R K C I T Y Traditional materials in a fresh way: Lukas created the sweeping 150-foot long decorative light sculpture which crowns the restaurant, bar and lounge areas in the Grand Hyatt above Grand Central Terminal. Each piece is fabricated from hand polished and lacquered steel tubing and is lit with LED accent and halogen down lights. Architect: Bentel & Bentel

Internally lighted by LED, the curving arcs follow the architecture and provide direction for guests. Frosted acrylic panels are digitally printed to provide graduated layers of diffusion and feature a subtle moire pattern.

BEHIND THE SCENES: TOWER 45 The double tiered light sculpture in the atrium of Tower 45 can only be described as epic in its size and in the amount of preparation and planning. Leading up to the completion involved an abundance of engineering, testing and assembly.

1. The aluminum shell of the sculpture is created at Lukas. 2. A full size foam mockup is raised at the site to obtain final positioning. 3. The fixture is electrically tested and lighted. (opposite page) 4. & 5. Final lifting and assembly.
