Lead role in design & fabrication, liason between TMU & DT Yonge BIA

Commissioned by the Downtown Yonge Business Improvement Area, Fractured brings life into an abandoned retail outlet on Yonge Street, which had been previously boarded up as a result of the Covid-19 Pandemic. The use of mirrors, dynamic suspended fins, and backlit silhouettes allow for the installation to be reinterpreted based on direction of travel and time of day. Due to limited site access, individual modules were designed to be prototyped and fully constructed within the TMU Department of Architectural Science facilities; these modules were then transported and assembled on-site at a rapid pace.
