WHAT WE DO

We are a multidisciplinary design office focused on Retail Design, which has been providing architectural, graphic and product design services since 2004 and is a strategic solution partner in all design works for firms that want to establish their brands, and always aiming at completing different and unique projects.

We know the needs of the sector and thanks to our expertise, we care about the design structure that will improve the brand DNA and not break the integrity of it. We provide architectural, graphic design, product design and visual editing services for stores, cafĂŠs & restaurants in domestic and international projects.

MURAT Murat Tamgüç and Bertan Berk are designers who carry out product design and project-based work, who have been awarded the Elle Decor award for lighting, who were invited to the Saint Etienne Design Biennial with the design called ‘Selçuk’ and received the BMD Look award for their showcase designs. Lunapark Shop, which they designed with the concept of ‘Turkish Very Much’, was chosen by Maison & Objet as one of the most popular 16 stores in the world with its architecture and product selection. They are influenced by the traditional Turkish culture, and they design modernized products that take into consideration the geographical elements they are in and do not lose their originality.

Murat Tamgüç and Bertan Berk, who provide design consultancy in Lunapark which was founded in 2004, serve the retail sector with their experienced and educated teams in different disciplines.

2016 Amusement Park Corporate Identity work, which we renewed by starting from the amusement park items (ferris wheel, merry-go-round, entrance ticket, colored lights).


Tesbih The ‘tesbih’ concept product, designed by being influenced by the traditional Turkish culture, can be used in three different levels when desired. The product, which can be used as a table or a coffee table, is designed with an inspiration from the movement of the prayer beads. Sini SİNİ (a round metal tray), which was designed with an aim of Nomadic culture to meet today’s active lifestyle, has a form that can easily be moved if desired.

Selçuk Selçuk is a compartment system expressed by modern techniques and materials, in which we have removed Seljuk designs from their two dimensional structures and transform them into three dimensional objects while trying to form a connection between the past and the future by using a traditional motif. Istanbul The illumination designed as a silhouette of the city displays the unique

beauty of the mosques and Galata tower which are indispensable parts of Turkish culture and history.

Mobile-light The aim of mobile-light, which is a reflection of the Mediterranean and İstanbul theme, is to examine the influence of the present-day life style on the relationship of people, space and objects in the space, and to show the adaptation of these objects with spaces as they move around with people.


ARÇELİK


We are providing space concept design, stand design and communication studies at retail outlets of Arรงelik, where we began to provide design agency services in 2014.




DÄ°VAN

By originating from the modernized identity of the Divan brand in 2008, we carried all packaging design, catalog, advertisement and architectural concept studies to a young dimension.









PÄ°DENOVA

By taking Pide Nova out of the standard pide restaurant concept, we have designed it as a 3rd generation pide restaurant. We have improved the perception of Black Sea by using wooden beams, wooden visuals and a green color in the venue that we have designed with a natural concept, which emphasize the Black Sea roots of the owners. We used hand painted ceramic carvings for the traditional stone oven which we have placed at the heart of the location.







TEPEHOME


Working together since 2001, we implemented the architectural, styling, stand and facade designs of the 5500 square meters ‘flagship’ Bilkent store of Tepe Home.

Taking customer circulation into consideration during the in-store settlement, we have created a pleasant shopping experience where every square meter can be efficiently used by the customers.

By placing the accessory section at the center of the store, we wanted the customers wondering in the store to visualize their dream home as a whole by looking at the decorative objects of Tepe Home.

We enabled the products to stand out with the display units we designed with a minimalist line.

We have separated the store into two as accessories and furniture..

We have designed an illuminated glass ceiling in the accessory section, with inspiration from French galleries. We used separators and lighting systems to create transitions between the furniture areas that we designed in 3 different styles. We strengthened the transition between the sections using different paint, decorative flooring, and wall panels in each section.


We have created a playground where children can enjoy their time so that customer with children can shop more conveniently. We transformed the column in the child section into a gigantic tree, and created colorful seating areas by placing colored puffs around it.



NDESIGN


We implemented the architectural concept, application project and visual layout of the NDesign store that opened in May 2015 in Mobiliyum, which is Turkey’s first and Europe’s largest furniture Shopping Center.

We used glass separators to provide transparency between the rooms in the store and glass shelves to create a panoramic view from the entrance of the store, which we supported with neutral tones and natural materials.

During the four months of the project, with the aim of designing a store that speaks the same language as NDesign furniture, we designed the 700 square meters store in three different concepts: Traditional, Glamor and Casual.

To ensure continuity in the design of the upstairs, we decorated the staircase with shelves and lighted cubes. By doing so, we created an attraction point and wanted the customers to discover the upper floor.

We created a sense of daylight inside the store with our lighted glass door design and created a feeling of home with our fireplace design We created a comfortable interior space by separating the section of the customer’s sales point from the rest of the store with a black floor.




KOÇTAŞ


We have performed architectural concept studies, graphic design, visual arrangement, strategy and product planning of Koçtaş, which we have been carrying out architectural concept studies, product selection, window design and the art directorship of Koçtaş’s bathroom and furniture catalogs every season since 2006.




NAÄ°F Naif is a 200 square meter 3rd generation Turkish cuisine restaurant that we have completed the project as Lunapark. We realized the architectural concept, corporate identity and styling work by combining the traditional Turkish food culture and the texture of KarakĂśy.




In our logo design with art deco and gravure effects, we created a dynamic image by using main elements of food culture. While designing Naif, in contrast to the dark and heavy spaces projected recently with an industrial design, we have created a spacious location by emphasizing blue and white tones of the Aegean, and turquoise color.


GODIVA


Providing agency services to Godiva since 2010, we have supported Godiva’s differentiation in the global market with its catalogs, packaging designs, photo shoot productions and visual arrangements.






BEYMEN

Since 2008 we have been performing styling and photo shoots of Beymen’s New Year’s Catalogue.







BEKO


We are providing space concept design, stand design and communication studies at retail outlets of Beko, where we began to provide design agency services in 2014. As Lunapark, we designed the sponsorship and catering lounge area of Beko, which is located on the lodge floor of the Vodafone Arena. The 40-square-meter area was designed with football lovers passion of ‘running to the field’ in mind.

Beko products were placed in spot-lit niches and each one was supplemented with a separate sound system and readied for guest experience. One wall of the lounge area was designed with a museum style supported by photos where you can take a look at the cooperation Beko & Beşiktaş, which has been going on for years with the sponsorship of Beko.




CHAKRA

We have performed the architectural concept, showcase design, visual arrangement and photo shoots of all the stores of Chakra until today, to which we provide brand consultancy since 2007, beginning with strategic planning as Chakra was founded.

We have combined the simplicity of Chakra products with the positive energy of naturality in productions and shootings that we have performed in unparalleled geographies and locations of Turkey.

HABÄ°TAT

We have designed living spaces that each depart from different districts and different people’s life stories by carrying out a concept renewal work on the 1000 square meter stores of Habitat in Kanyon and Addresistanbul.





DR LIGHT


We reflected DR LIGHT’s innovative and leading attitude to the catalogue, which we have carried out the photo shoot, styling, and design of.




TUNA EV




We realized the new store concept, facade design and visual layouts of TunaEv’s GÜztepe and Masko stores. In line with the request of TunaEv, we created living spaces supplemented with decorative items that would take the imagination of the guests who visit their stores and reflect their own style to their homes. We have implemented home life with all its details in the store in five concepts that we have designed as; a family that loves to travel, a young woman who loves books, a young

married couple who loves to have fun, a business man who loves luxury and prestige, and a family with children that loves nature. Within our five concepts, we wanted to show that Tunaev furniture can be adapted to different life styles with different decorative objects. We prefered marble-look ceramics, which is in the upper ranks of the house decoration trends recently, since it provides ease of use and chicness. We applied gray color to the walls so that the TunaEv furniture would be

on the forefront. While creating an industrial and modern mood with old type metal separators, we supported the loft effect by using mesh in the ceiling lighting modules that we designed. As atmosphere light we used hidden vertical and horizontal light bands that soften the place and give it a feeling of home. We underlined the motto of living with illuminated decorative wall accessories we designed for the rooms.


DOUGLAS

We rejuvenated the brand perception of Douglas, the well-known brand of cosmetics. We realized the architecture, styling, stand design, in-store signalizations of Ä°zmir and Istanbul Canyon stores.





GÜRAL


As Lunapark, we performed the styling of Güral Porcelain’s 2016 Winter season catalogue. The shooting that we performed at the Hazz Hotel of Aslı Tunca in Galatasaray took a week.

We have done a styling work that supports the complete collection of Güral Porcelain, which offers a powerful collection that is also in the foreground in modern lines as it is classical.




DEDEMAN PAR PARK KANTÄ°N


RK

We aimed the mini market located in Dedeman Park to step out of the ordinary grocery store concept and to be a pleasant stop for the hotel customers. We have designed the small location to be as efficient as possible.




BOYNER EVDE


E

Since 2006 we have carried out the location and casting, and decor designs of the Summer and Winter Catalog shoots, each of which lasts at least 9-12 days in different regions of Turkey.
