NOTHING, LEFT FOR ME.

Creating is magnificent, odd and in all honesty, quite challenging. Creating something from nothing is that, but magnified. Where can you find nothing? The suburbs.
A challenging place to live when it seems everywhere else is buzzing. Because of this, creating can be the most appealing and ultimately fulfilling activity. Where does your mind wander when your surroundings aren’t constantly stimulating it? Can a sense of curiosity for the area you’ve lived for 20 years begin to develop—even perhaps an intrigue for it?
The benefit of a blank slate is the opportunity to make a distinct mark on it. In this case, suburbia offers a place for anyone to make something— something unique. It can take different forms; a paint night with friends, free-styling your own recipe for a dessert, downloading software to make your own beat, and a plethora of other things. This day however, it meant using an old pool ladder, that’s since been repurposed, as a prop for a backyard photo after the snow had melted.
Act on an idea that has been brewing in your mind and channel your passion into something tangible. At the core of it all, however you choose to get creative and whatever the scale, put your heart into it and get lost, because for once, there truly is no right or wrong.
