Introduction This information is about how Luton Town FC Community Trust (LTFCCT) keeps children and vulnerable adults safe. Keeping children and vulnerable adults safe is very important to us at LTFCCT. LTFCCT is the charitable arm of Luton Town Football Club, we work with the local community and young people.

What is abuse? Abuse is when someone does or says things to another person to:

Upset them

Types of Abuse There are different types of abuse:
Physical Abuse. This is something that that hurts your body like being hit, kicked or slapped
Emotional Abuse. This is something that that hurts your feelings like being made fun of
Sexual Abuse. This is when you are made to take part in something sexual that you don’t want to do
Stealing from you, or making you give something away
Neglect. This is when you are not given the help that you need
Domestic Abuse. Abuse that happens at home from someone in your family

This is when you are treated differently because of your:

Gender. Male or female or something else

Sexuality. This means because you are gay, lesbian, straight or something else
