Prevention begins with awareness Buyers and users of blinds should be aware of the hazards that can be posed by unrestrained cords, loop chains and wires, which may be hazardous to young children. We suggest you adopt these simple tips to ensure the well-being and safety of your children and pets. • Position cots, beds, playpens and other furniture on walls without windows and window cords. • Check your current window coverings for exposed or dangling cords. • Keep cords out of reach of children. • Eliminate any dangling cords with cordless window coverings. • Permanently anchor continuous cord loop window covering cords to the floor or wall. • Do not tie cords together. Cord Tensioner
An innovative lifting system that allows you to operate your shade using a single retractable cord which maintains a constant cord length regardless of the position of the blind, making it less accessible to small children and pets.
Our cord tensioner is designed with spring tension and bracket. When properly installed, it holds looped cords taut to reduce the risk of a child becoming entangled.
EasyRise
Cord Cleat
Luxaflex EasyRise Lifting System offers a continuous cord loop for easy movement of the shade. This cord is fixed in a tensioner, securely attached to a wall or architrave, so it cannot form a loop.
Designed for standard cordlock products, our cord cleat allows excess lift cords to be tightly wrapped around it when the blind is raised for both enhanced safety and a neater appearance at the window.
