s the season and temperatures change, it’s time to look at the trends designers had in store for Fall 2017. I know, September is still pretty warm for those of us in the Queen City, but this month is crucial when it comes to picking out stylish, yet warm outfits for fall. Thankfully, we had a lot of truly gorgeous runway inspiration earlier this year. So without further ado, let’s take a look at fashion trends for Autumn 2017.
Glitter Boots
Glitter boots appeared six separate times on the Fall 2017 runways. These dazzling boots come in all colors, shapes, and styles but there’s one common denominator: glitter. These boots have left a lasting impact on us and will be a true statement pair for Fashion Girls alike. We love the look, that much is certain, but are we going to love the trail of glitter that will follow with every step we take?

As we have seen on the catwalks earlier this year, space age is back. Shimmering Golds and Silver Moon-inspired shawls, tops and evening gowns are going to be a big deal this fall. If making a statement or entrance is your forte get ready to strut your stuff in saffron and light slate gray.
Deconstruction
This past summer we’ve seen a lot of brands creating their own deconstructed dresses and tops. But the deconstructed look is continuing into Fall 2017. The twisted,

morphed, and slashed trend is continuing strong, and we are going to be welcoming many more mixed material pieces into our wardrobes, as the weather cools. Those who choose to rock this fractured look are going to be ahead in the fashion game.
The Reinvented Pant Suit

No surprise here, pantsuits are back! After all, 2017 was dubbed the year of the Pant-suit. This masculine-meets-feminine silhouette is a classic autumn look and powersuiting is a trend that seems to be sticking around. We’ve seen bold patterns to conventional suits with exaggerated twists. All the legendary women and entrepreneurs that have reshaped what it means to be a woman today, most likely inspired these super chic looks. Earlier this year, we gazed in awe as Victoria Beckham dawned her own pantsuit, and cheered as Emma Watson strutted the red carpet in a crisp white Yves Saint Laurent set.
This fall will be anything but boring and vanilla. We are going bold and we are welcoming bright cherry red back! This eye-catching shade has quickly grown to be autumn’s hottest color. Get ready to stock up on lipsticks, scarves, and beautiful coats in this rich shade.
Another fall color trend is burgundy. No surprise here, this is a typical Autumn color but this truly lavish and regal shade is perfect for monochromatic lips and pairs well with a bright red. Get

ready to pair these two beautiful shades together.

Fringe
Delicately placed on the hem of a jacket or skirt, fringe is making a statement this fall. This cascading, swaying frill has always added to the playfulness of a look, bringing out the youth in people of all ages. Fringe has made a lasting comeback in the recent years, and this season will be no different.
Oversized Knit
With the “self-care” lifestyle on the rise, those of us who like to kick back and get cozy are going to love oversized sweaters. This look creates a relaxed and generous silhouette that pairs well with jeans, flowy skirts and slim-fitting trousers. Comfort is one trend everyone can get behind.
