Business Challenge The CMBS securitization process generates a large, and often convoluted, paper trail that requires document exchanges from numerous players, thus increasing the risk of missing documents that can slow down the process and impact CMBS performance. To manage the risk, the bank created an initiative to develop a document management system, customized to the CMBS workflow, to support best practices and standardization.
