In order to pay the bills, the Nassifs were forced to empty their savings to stay afloat and found themselves in challenging circumstances. “I had to shift to think positively about the situation; that’s when my strength grew,” shares Nassif. “When you’re in a downturn, don’t question God because you need to go through this to get to the other side.” If her husband hadn’t gotten sick, Mimi may never have built a career of her own. Passing her real estate exam and starting up, Mimi proved she was a natural by earning International Rookie of the Year her first year in business.
