I have said this before; there is no glass ceiling The real estate market has escalated over the in the Real Estate industry. Hearing each client’s story, earning their trust, and having the opportunity to play a meaningful role in their lives, is rewarding to me. I place my client’s needs in the forefront of my own. I truly care about my client’s and I carefully listen to understand their needs. I focus all my energy on obtaining the best outcome for them. They are not just a transaction, they are treated as family, and I make it my responsibility to be there throughout the entire process, start to finish.
What “super power” do you have that helps you in Real Estate? My secret weapon is my wife, Catherine. She is an Interior Designer and her talents have been a great asset for me and my clients. She helps with staging and remodeling strategies which bring a tremendous value for the client.
When you and your family spend time together, where do you go and why? To have free time is a real luxury. I love to travel and spend time with family. One of our favorite places is the beach. We are all blessed to live so close to Port Aransas, TX. With just a two and a half hour car ride away it is easy to get away for a night or a long weekend. As a family we love to unwind on the beach, boating, fishing, and overall just enjoy the change of scenery. As soon as the water comes into view, it has a calming effect on all of us.
What is something that most people would not know about you? I spent many years working with my father in his fine jewelry store, which is where I became an expert in diamonds and fine jewelry.
What is something you cannot live without? Hands down, my iPhone. I never go a moment without my most surmountable tool. With it, I am always able to be connected to my clients, follow up on transactions, market my listings, and instantly respond to leads.
What would you say to a REALTOR® who is just starting their real estate business? For some, being a REALTOR® is a great career choice and rewarding on many levels. I have witnessed, through the years, many agents struggle to break through. Keep in mind, this is an industry no different than others, with regard to building any new business, it takes TIME and EDUCATION. Learn the product, be honest, have integrity, answer the phone, and do what you say you will do. This business requires a tremendous amount of mental and physical dedication, don’t give up.
