About the Program

Australian Paper is offering excellent career opportunities to highly motivated applicants seeking an Apprenticeship in one of the following trades: ● Electrical - (4 years) with an option of an additional 1 year to complete

Instrumentation and Control upon a successful completion of Electrical Trade

School. ● Fitting & Machining - (4 years) The successful applicants will commence in mid - late January 2023.

To be eligible applicants must:

● Have or anticipate having at the end of 2022 as a minimum, a satisfactory result in Year 11 with a proven ability in Mathematics, Science and English. ● Demonstrate a genuine interest in and knowledge of the trade area for which you are applying as illustrated by previous work experience, participation in home or recreational maintenance activities, and/or your performance in related school subjects. ● If applying for the Electrical Apprenticeship must have or anticipate having a

Certificate II in Electro technology at the end of 2022. ● Be physically fit.

less experienced CPPs? An exciting opportunity exists for Senior Child Protection Practitioners (Supervisory and Non-Supervisory) on full and part-time fixed term basis in Leongatha, Morwell and Warragul.

The Senior Child Protection Practitioner is responsible for supporting and developing Child Protection Practitioners in the integration of theory and practice whilst demonstrating their expertise through case practice and the supervision of Child Protection Practitioners. Senior Child Protection Practitioner (Supervisory) will work collaboratively with the Team Manager to strengthen case practice, provide effective service delivery and to support other practitioners in the development of plans to bring about the changes necessary to ensure the safety, stability and development of children and young people and to promote the achievement of case plan objectives within specified time frames. The position will have supervisory responsibility, commensurate with their other duties. Senior Child Protection Practitioner (Non-Supervisory) may be responsible for receiving and assessing reports of alleged abuse and neglect of children and young people, undertaking investigations and developing plans to bring about the changes necessary to ensure the safety, stability and development of children and young people and to promote the achievement of case plan objectives within specified time frames. This may include taking matters to court. The Practitioner maintains a full case load, is a senior member of the team and works collaboratively with the Team Manager to provide effective service delivery and support to other practitioners.
