Look to the Lord and His strength: seek His face always. Psalm 105:4

Life is beautiful. But sometimes we experience deep pain, challenging decisions, broken relationships, loss of a loved one, addictions. Looking to Jesus and seeking His face is the only way to keep from unraveling. We are desperate for His strength. No matter where you are in life this moment, maybe you are in a fruitful and pleasing season rather than one of difficulty, your strength is in Him and you gain it by turning to Him, always. Reflect on a time when you looked to Him for strength and you felt it as sure as you feel your own breath. In what ways do you need His strength today?

“Be still and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10 Before you begin your journey of walking the Sacred Path, take a quiet moment and invite God to join you and to be very present to you in every way. As you

VISION By David Adam

O Lord Extend my vision My clearness of sight Open my eyes to see Beyond the obvious To perceive that this is Your world You are in it You invade it You pervade it You enfold it It is immersed in You As you contemplate the words of the poem, in what ways do you see God’s presence and His work around you? If you struggle to see Him, use the poem as a heartfelt prayer.

The Mighty One, God, the Lord, speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to the place where it sets. From Zion, perfect in beauty, God shines forth. Psalm 50: 1-2 Every day since its creation, the sun has risen to our east, crosses the broad sky only to rest in the west. It’s never skipped a day. God is faithful. Where in your life do you need to reflect on His faithfulness so that you can rest in His loving peace? What concerns do you need to lift before Him? Take a moment and consider the burdens you are carrying and offer them up to Him in prayer.

For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. Isaiah 41:13 Take a moment to quiet yourself. As you sit on the bench, place your right hand, palm up, on your knee. Reflect on the verse above. Visualize Jesus taking your hand in this very moment. All His power and all His love is felt as He says quietly to you, “Do not fear. I will help you.” Considering the burdens you lifted to Him at the last garden, how do you feel knowing He will help you?

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 Sit with this verse for a moment. Right now, the Lord is speaking this directly to you. Not someone else. But you. In what ways does this bring you comfort?
