About Us
We are an experienced and established business that manufacture bespoke, handmade furniture for trade professionals. Our furniture workshop is in Rochester, Kent, and we work with retailers, property developers, contractors, interior designers, architects and trade professionals in London and the Home Counties. Everything we do is custom-made to order; we work with you to bring your designs to life. We manufacture hand-painted in-frame kitchens and furniture for any room in the home or commercial property.
Sustainability Arbor Lane Interiors are proud to support The National Forest Foundation. Each and every single piece of furniture we create is made using sustainably sourced timber. Our timber suppliers have been awarded the FSC & PEFC certification, which are globally recognised schemes to ensure their timber has been responsibly managed in their forests. We are passionate about sustainability, and that is why we plant a tree for every furniture project we make.
We have been in the bespoke furniture industry for over ten years, and we know how important it is to deliver an impeccable product with first class customer service, within a sensible time frame, and at a sensible cost.

Specification 1. Cabinets
Our cabinets are supplied fully built; if required they can be de-constructed on site. Our cabinets are an in-frame product; they are individual pieces of furniture ready to install. Plinth is included within the price of the cabinets. Cabinet interiors available in: • Oak or Walnut MFC • Oak or Walnut Veneer • Painted MDF
2. Doors & Frames
Our shaker doors are made from 26mm thick maple, mortise and tenon 80mm wide rails, with a 12mm MDF centre panel. Our 45mm frames are made from tulipwood and are available with or without a staff bead (cock bead). Tall doors can have centre rails set at any height to enable continuity around the kitchen.
3. Hinges
Our doors are pre-hung with butt hinges, and are shot on the cabinet on a level bench. As we all know, the real world is not level, and adjustment may be required after installation. Hinges are available in four finishes: • Antique • Chrome • Satin Chrome • Polished Brass *Concealed hinges are also available.
4. Catches
Our standard nickel magnetic catch has a pull of 6kg. Our premium soft-close oak block incorporates a 10kg pull and a soft-close damper.

Decor panels are available in: • Plain • Shaker • Butt & Bead
The furniture arrives fully hand-painted in any colour of your choice. After installation it will require paint touch-in. Spare paint is supplied with each order, a full kitchen would be delivered with at least 1 litre of paint. *Spray finish is available on request.

Orders
We operate a six week lead time from final sign-off of drawings and payment of deposit, until delivery. All items made in our workshop are made bespoke to you, for your clients, and therefore our payment terms are 50% deposit on order and 50% remainder before release from our workshop. Kerbside delivery is free on orders over £500, which includes a dedicated delivery driver to help with unload. However, there must be a partner representative on site to take in a delivery. Orders under £500 will be sent out on a next-day delivery service at cost. (We understand that from time to time you require things more urgently and we will always try to accommodate our showroom partners with the infrastructure we have available on that day. Of course you are always welcome to collect from our workshop.)
Packaging
As standard, our packaging is eco-friendly recyclable cardboard and is left on site with the delivery of the furniture. Wherever possible each item will be wrapped in high quality blue transit blankets which are removed and taken by our team on delivery. This has the added bonus of not having packaging to dispose of at the end of the project, and is by far the most eco-friendly option. Every individual piece of furniture that leaves our workshop will have an individual sticker with the client name, item number and will be signed by one of our team who has carried out quality control checks.

54 Housing For Appliances No Door • When the appliance door is on view when the kitchen is complete, but is still housed within a cabinet. To accommodate this into an Arbor Lane in-frame kitchen, an additional 95mm will need to be added to the width of the appliance, to allow for the overall cabinet width. The below appliances are listed to fit into a 600mm cabinet, so the final overall measurement for an Arbor Lane in-frame cabinet would be 695mm wide. Sliding Door • When an Arbor Lane door is attached to the appliance by a sliding door mechanism. The Arbor Lane cabinet is made identical to an Arbor Lane larder, using our hinges and requiring no modification. The door will be 26mm thick as standard, with or without cockbead, and the cabinet will be made at 690mm wide. We have not yet come across a sliding door mechanism appliance that does not work with an Arbor Lane kitchen, therefore this is our preffered option. Fixed Door • When an Arbor Lane door is attached to the door of the appliance and is hinged by the appliance. This cabinet will be 690mm wide and if there is no cockbead, the door will be 26mm as standard. If the kitchen has a cockbead, the door will be reduced to 23mm. This is the most difficult appliance to fit into an Arbor Lane kitchen, and there are no Arbor Lane hinges present.
Below is a list of fixed door appliances known to work with an Arbor Lane kitchen. They will end up with a 2mm door shut as standard if the appliance is not on this list. Please follow checks below: • The appliance in question must have the ability to limit the door opening to 90 degrees. This information can be found in the installation manual downloadable online, then please ensure you check with us if the appliance will work with an Arbor Lane kitchen. • If the appliance in question does not work with an Arbor Lane kitchen, we are able to adapt it so that the thickness of the door is reduced, and the door shut is increased from 2mm to 5mm. The client must be made aware of this.
The door hinges are set ex-works to enable the door to be opened wide. However, if the opening angle of the door needs to be limited for any reason, the hinge can be adjusted to accommodate this. – If the appliance door hits an adjacent wall when opened, for example, the opening angle can be limited to 90°.
