Designed with energy efficiency in mind, our Iso and Iso Pro range of taps have been engineered using cold start technology. Cold start technology is activated by the internal cartridge inside the tap, which has been configured so that when the handle is positioned in the central "start" position, the water that is delivered runs cold. This saves the unnecessary heating of water for daily rituals like washing hands and cleaning teeth - encouraging responsible management of energy and water. Our Iso and Iso Pro taps are supported with a 15 year guarantee and certified to WRAS Approved standards.

Our Colour Your Bathroom range of taps have been fitted with industry leading, patented design Vernet® thermostatic cartridges that provide a precise and stable mixed water temperature thanks to their dual flow control function. This design feature helps to reduce energy consumption due to a quicker temperature increase. These durable, long lasting cartridges are made from high-quality polymer that resists scale build-up, and have been fitted with a preset temperature function as well as an anti-scald safety function for total peace of mind. Thanks to this highly advanced design of regulatory components, Vernet® have developed their cartridges to provide the best temperature regulation and safety in accordance with industry standards.

All products in this brochure are marked with a pressure rating (BAR pressure) bar and it is important that your hot and cold water system can produce the required level of pressure in order to make the items function correctly. Please see below the diagrams of the typical hot and cold water systems in UK properties, along with an indication of the pressure rating of the products you can use with each system. Care and Maintenance Abacus products are manufactured to exacting standards and following the care and cleaning guidelines below will ensure that your bathroom will give you years of effective use. Taps & Brassware Taps and brassware products should be cleaned with a diluted mild detergent such as washing up liquid applied with a soft sponge or cloth, and then buffed dry with a microfibre cloth. Avoid using acids, rough sponges or steel wool and do not leave detergent on the products for long periods of time. General NEVER use products containing bleach on bathroom products or any cleaners or cloths of an abrasive nature.

Coloured Finishes In respect of coloured finishes of bathroom products it must be noted that a bathroom contains many different types and varieties of products ( i.e. taps, wastes, shower hoses, radiator valves, shower screens, accessories etc.), and also these components are made from different materials including brass, stainless steel, plastics, aluminium.
