Their prices are significally lower but higher compared to H&M. there's often a small flourish in the silhouette, the materials, or detailing around a seam, which gives a garment a balance between feeling current and long lasting.

COS releases two collections every year which are spring/summer and autumn/winter.

Woman clothing such as their dresses hover around £56 to £105 which depends on the cut and materials. Coats fall between £105 & £175 and pants around £70. COS believes everyone should have the opportunity to wear quality designs. A clean cut style will create a smart authentic brand focus and minimal outfit to focus on accessories styled.


CUT from the Cloth COS is made from 20 designers and 20 pattern makers, each having their own twists on things. What gustafsson and andersson look for in designers is that they share a certain thought process which means they can take research & turn it into a product. Gustafsson says “we’re all creatives but we’re also into the small details, so we always try to come up with new ways of making and pushing construction.” COS always try to find unconventional textiles that balance visual and tactile characteristics with performance. Leaning towards natural fibres such as wool, linen, silk and cotton is always a good look.


BUILDING A COLLECTION The starting point for COS collection is typically industrial designs or architecture – but can be anything streaming from the creative fields, such as film and music.

COS mission statement: “Offering reinvented classics and wardrobe essentials, we create pieces that are made to last beyond the season. Traditional methods and new techniques merge to form timeless, understated collections.”


COS reveals it’s spring/summer collection 2018 featuring essentials for warm, breezy weather photographed by Karim Sadli. The art installation-themed imagery includes minimalist separates accentuated by a blurry view of a landscape in the background. The brand plays on its creative side by presenting pieces with a muted color palette featuring white, tan, dark green and dark blue.
