BACHELOR THESIS
Swan
In collaboration with CRANCHI
For this individual Thesis project, mentored by Cranchi, it was required to build an environmentally friendly (low-impact) 32-feet boat. The concept treats the rediscovery of sailing experience put in the powerboat, by creating tranquility and a feeling of overall emotional in the middle of the sea. Ideally, this model addresses and accentuates the feeling of being surrounded by the immensity of the sea, both inside and outside the motorboat. The yacht’s lines are inspired by the elegance of the swan to represent tranquility and freedom.
HYBRID PROPULSION
PARASOL In order to save space, the unfolding system of the parasol, inspired by the folds and apertures of Japanese origami and paper cutting techniques, deploys and retracts electronically with little human intervention.
SMART DECK The rear deck uses intelligent technology, giving the passenger the freedom to accommodate as he pleases through an app. A temperatureresistant water-repellent elastic fabric (2) is covered with a pattern with polygonal shapes in Permateek (1). This pattern allows the synthetic teak surface to change shape, thanks to inflated balloons (3), while remaining virtually smooth to the touch.

3 The water drainage has been improved by implementing a self-cleaning grill (1) on the oblique crossbeam. This prevents organic waste from entering into the drainage of water by displacing it outwards along the beam. A draining path runs from the frontal crossbeam (2) to the pillar through a lateral hole, which ends at the base of the latter with a grid bearing the CORRADI logo (3).

The Pergotenda 45 is a timeless classic of CORRADI. This version maintains the elegance of the CORRADI living spaces thanks to a clean design and a harmonic arrangement of lines. Another characteristic of the PT45 is the bimaterial play between wood and aluminum which add modernity, depth and contrast among surfaces.

La Sylphide
TABLE LAMP
complexity
The table lamp La Sylphide is made out from baking paper in order to provide soft and warm illumination for a cozy ambient. The paper is creased and bended. Three of those sheets are sewes together so they will create layers. Afterwards all the layers are sewed together, enclosing LED light stripes inside the lamp.

aeroMorph MIT
Biombo provied private space by isolating acousticaly and physically. It is made of a plastic origami structure that uses the AeroMorph technology from Tangible Media Group. By inflating Biombo, the origami structure rolls out and creates a soundproofing wall thanks to the inflated soft patterns. A control valve maintains the air in to keep it solid. Biombo can be deflated so it may be put back in its box. Differents patterns may be chosen.
