WELCOME Welcome to Leonellas Welcome to Leonellas, our home away from home town of San Juan. This welcome book is intended to help you get acquainted with the area and our home. We've downloaded our 22 years of area knowledge for you to enjoy! Favourite restaurants, golf courses, vineyards, and more. Along with our area guide you'll also find everything you need to know about our home. From air conditioning to the. You will find a bound copy of this guide in the home, which you are welcome to take out with you during your stay so you needn't print this out. Your unit We have sought to equip our home to a high standard and to anticipate your needs by providing all the things you might want for a luxurious stay. Hair dryers and towels are provided as standard and a washing machine is available so that you don’t have to worry about luggage restrictions. Our philosophy You want to have a wonderful holiday and we want that for you too. We believe that when you are here this is your home for however long you are staying and that you will be relaxed, comfortable and happy. Welcome to our piece of paradise!

At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto BWIA BLVD. Turn left onto Churchill Roosevelt Hwy - continue on CHR to Mount Hope exit. Continue on the ramp and merge onto Uriah Butler Hwy. At the Roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on Uriah Butler Hwy crossing Priority Bus Rte. Turn left onto Eastern Main road – continue on Eastern main road turn right onto Ryan St. Continue straight up

GETTING HERE WITHOUT A CAR We understand that some of you will be traveling without a car. In this case finding us is pretty simple! If arriving from the airport please [if you would prefer that someone else do the driving, I can recommend a reliable person]. If arriving from the coach/bus station [add your instructions here]. INVENTORY CHECK Optional opportunity to add any specific inventory check you or your housekeeping will do on check in. PARKING Parking is provided on site for 2 cars. There is also public parking on the streets.
DEPARTURE INFORMATION CHECK-OUT PROCESS When you leave, please ensure the following simple tasks are done: - take the rubbish out to the bins - ensure the air-conditioning is set to 85F / 29C
 - lock the house
 - leave the key with the caretaker/property manager/office/host. We hope you had a wonderful holiday and wish you safe travels back home. We'd love to see you again next year! CHECK-OUT TIME Check-out time is strictly 12 noon. Should you require a later check-out we will do our best but you need to let us know beforehand. If we have guests arriving that day it will be almost impossible to offer a late check-out due to the cleaners needing to prepare for those guests. CLEANING You will find the house clean on arrival but please let us know if you are not satisfied. After you depart our cleaners will perform that for the next guest. If you are here for two weeks there will be one clean, usually on the middle Saturday. They have a key and will access the house at some point during the day, but not before 10am. If you need a cleaning service more often, please let us know and we will arrange this. An extra payment will apply. On departure it would be helpful if you could leave the house (particularly kitchen contents) clean and tidy when you leave. No need for you to perform a full clean! INVENTORY CHECK Optional opportunity to add any specific inventory check you or your housekeeping will do on check out.
GETTING YOURSELF ORIENTED OVERVIEW OF THE AREA Our home is on a fairly quiet private road and is located in a residential neighbourhood about 27 min. away from Piarco Airport and around 20 min. to Port of Spain. It will take you close to 39 min. to reach Maracas beach from our home. We are near minutes from the shopping area (Croisee). There you have easy access to the Groceries, Bakeries, Stores, Banks, Gyms, Taxi/Bus. SUGGESTIONS IF YOU ARRIVE EARLY Many guests will arrive before the designated check-in time. The good news is that there is plenty to do. We often suggest that guests visit the grocery store and do a small shop. That will give you more time to relax once you've checked in! There are also a few good restaurants for lunch so why not relax and enjoy some of the local food!
ABOUT THE ACCOMMODATION APPLIANCE INSTRUCTIONS / INFORMATION AIR CONDITIONING Our home has the benefit of air conditioning. You will find a remote control on the wall [in the living room, in the bedroom on each night stand]. Please ensure that all windows and outside doors are closed whilst the AC is running to ensure it operate to maximum efficiency. We recommend a setting of [72F / 22C] which we find keeps the place sufficiently cool. FLOOR FANS Our home is equipped with two floor fans to help keep you cool. Each fan is operated via a switch on the fan CENTRAL HEATING Our home has no central heating system. FIREPLACE Our home has no working fireplace.. KITCHEN EQUIPMENT All kitchen equipments are easy to use. If you have any questions though please contact host. The Dishwasher: Our home has no dishwasher The Fridge/freezer: You should not need to adjust any settings. If you run into any difficulties (e.g. it's not cooling efficiently) please let us know.
The Oven: The electric oven is simple to use. LAUNDRY APPLIANCES We have a washer and separate dryer located in laundry room at the back unit. There is a supply of detergent for your use. To operate the machines, simply select the program you want, place the detergent in the tray, close the door, and hit start. If in any doubt there are instructions on the inside washer cover the machines. SECURITY The property has burglar proofing throughout the home. Whenever you leave the property we strongly suggest you secure and lock gates. This is a safe area but it always pays to use all the available security features.
ENJOYING YOUR TIME INSIDE BOARD GAMES / PLAYING CARDS There is a deck of cards on the dining room table if you want to pass the time. BOOKS There are several books under the TV stand for you to enjoy. BREAKAGES We understand that sometimes accidents happen! Should you break anything please let us know immediately - if it's minor we usually won't charge. If it's a larger issue (e.g. the TV screen!) we would like to agree the cost with you before you leave to avoid any issues later. Thank you! GAMES CONSOLES No game consoles MUSIC SYSTEM No music system TELEVISION / DVD SYSTEM There is a DVD under the TV in the TV stand.

CHAIRS / TABLES There are chairs and a table located on the porch for your leisure. GRILL / BBQ There is no grill on site
MUSIC SYSTEM There is no loud music allowed on the premises. SWIMMING POOL We have a [heated] swimming pool available for your use. If you encounter any issues with cleanliness or notice any faults, please let us know asap. Please also pay special attention to the safety rules which are located [state where safety rules located]
OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION BED LINEN / TOWELS Towels and bed linens are located in the dresser draws in each room GARBAGE DISPOSAL & RECYCLING All waste is to be stored outside in the waste can provided. Garbage is collected daily, early morning, Monday-Friday WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF A POWER OUTAGE

use it is a night light. In case of a power failure they will come on. WINDOW LOCKS There are window locks on all windows. In case of an emergency/fire, there is a lock on the burglar proof for the front bedroom and one on the living room Window burglar proof.

SAFETY INFORMATION EMERGENCY EXIT INSTRUCTIONS Emergency exits are located at the front door and kitchen door. EMERGENCY PHONE NUMBERS For emergency services please immediately call 990 / 999. Do not delay if you feel an emergency situation has arisen. LOCATION OF FIRE ALARM The fire alarm is located in the hallway between the bedrooms. LOCATION OF FIRE EXTINGUISHER The fire extinguisher is located in the kitchen behind the kitchen door next to the kitchen cabinet and window. Instructions for use are on the fire extinguisher. SMOKE & CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTORS The smoke and carbon monoxide detector is located hallway between the bedrooms. The sound of the smoke detector is a loud piercing noise. There is audible noise from the carbon monoxide. In the event of a power outage, the devices are powered by battery.
