The goal for this book is for you to have fun coloring faces and skin tones. And for some of you to get more confidence in coloring skin tones by practicing on these images. In the end, you will end up with a beautiful and unique piece of Art. All I did was to provide you with the “sketch.” That’s how I look at grayscale coloring: the Artist provides you with the sketch (the grayscale); the foundation for your painting, and you figure out how to fill the rest in. There are many youtube videos available for you to learn how to do grayscale coloring. If you are challenged, go to youtube and search for what your issue is, and you’re sure to find some tutorials. And, you’re invited to join my facebook group “Creative Studio Designs.” https://www.facebook.com/groups/ creativestudiodesigns We’re building a group of Grayscale Colorists who appreciate high quality images. Once there, I welcome your feedback on the kinds of books you’d
like to see from me in the future. And if you have questions, please ask them, we have a wonderful community of colorists of all skill levels and a wide variety of experience, who will encourage and help you along your journey. And, if you prefer to print out your own images on your own paper, you can obtain copies of my books in pdf form on Etsy. My shop is also titled “Creative Studio Designs.” Here is the link to my Etsy Shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/CreativeStudDesigns The difference between the PDF version of the book and the Amazon printed version is that the PDF version has the color images. These might help you as a reference point, so you know what they looked like before they were transformed to grayscale, here is a link to the magazine-style presentations of all of my books. https://issuu.com/lynn.thomas57/docs It is what you would get if you bought the book on Etsy. But I’m giving it to you now so that you can
refer to the color images as a baseline for your grayscale coloring. My hope is that my books provide you many hours of creative coloring and soul nurturing moments, and give you beautiful art as a result. No two colorists color any single image in the same way, each is unique to you. Happy coloring! Lynn Thomas
