WHEN ZOMBIES ATTACK

The issue of overkill: is it anger? Or is it a problem?

The walking dead: which is dealier? Walking or crawling?

highest point of impact was 526 millimeters. This evidence proves that the bat was brought down more than once and as it was brought back up, the blood came up with the bat and fell back down at the force of gravity.

CASE SUMMARY: Throughout the world, zombies have run rampant. Possibly the biggest heard in Bartow County was seen in White, Georgia. A group of onlookers trapped inside of Cass High school, saw a lone party of 3 teenagers trying to skirt around the herd at the edge of the woods. A walker in a devil costume caught the groups scent, and set of in pursuit of the teenagers by himself. Wishing to rescue the teens and increase their number, a few people from the group in Cass high set off to save the small group from their imminent death. When the party arrived, there were no living beings in sight, but the devil walker was lying on the ground, dead and bloody. Hoping to track the lone group of teenagers, the party looked at the forensic side of the slaughter. RESULTS & DISCUSSION: The extreme overkill of the zombie led the group to believe that it was done out of anger and fear. The walker had snuck up on the group. There was a clean cut, however, that was on the side of the walker’s head where a portion of it was missing. This leads to the assumption that a sharp object, such as a machete or ax, was used initially. Due to the blood spatter, a blunt object was used to finish the job, but finish it a little too well. The blood trajectory and direction suggest that the bat was pulled back and brought down hard over and over again on the zombie’s head. The

Not only were there many signs of overkill, there was also signs of a rushed get away. Perhaps the teens were shaken and decided to run in case any other walkers came upon them. The abrupt stop of the blood spatter also suggest that someone was standing in the way of the direction the blood was going in. It could have been the person who was swinging the bat up and down, straight over their head and back down, or it could have been one of the other teens that was standing near.

As seen in the table, many of the drops were from shallow heights and had low angles of impact. However, there is one outlier. Drop number 17 however, had a height of 526mm, which was the highest we had. Another outlier was drop number 36, which had a height of 26.

CONCLUSION: The zombie was truly overkilled, and there were a few outliers which led to the assumption there was more than one original angle of impact. Sadly the Devil zombie’s life was shortlived. RIP devil zombie.
