Final Year Project
The design of the Terraforming Ground Museum is driven by a site analysis based on the history of the site, the geology of the site and the materials that could be found around the site. My building is creating archive of the Earth on Earth. The origin of the design is a terraformed model based on the site analysis. It creates rich landscape that is used for the design strategy of the building. The landscape proposed is the perfect environment for the building. It inspires forms, layers and materials used for the final design. The Terraforming Ground Museum of Canvey is an interactive place. The aim of the project is to create a building where history and science merge together to create rich spaces to be explored.

The idea of the building is to create landscape over the landscape where the visitor is lost. He/She takes a hot air balloon that brings him/ her to a new place to explore.

Itinerant Utopia Section: Fitzcaraldo
The isnpiration of the project is the movie Fitzcaraldo. The buildingcontains space for 40 people to sleep, bath and eat. There is a stage on the tower of the building for opera performances. The structural elements of a submarine are used for the creation of spaces and spectacular interior and exterior views.
