We are so fortunate in Vermont to have a wide variety of local foods available from the farms in our region. We all know—for example—we can find locally grown apples, kale, tomatoes, and blueberries. However, there are many vegetables, fruits, and grains grown in Vermont that may be less widely known. Here are of some that you might be surprised are available from local farms. Look for these products at area farmers’ markets, farm stands, and retailers of local foods.
