About the Event: Skaters of all ages at the USFS Basic 3 level and above are invited to participate in Skate for Hope. Participants will share the ice with National, World and Olympic Figure Skating Champions to help those affected by cancer.

Elite athletes will spend the day sharing insights, stories, techniques and lessons learned from their Olympic and International competitive careers. Each elite athlete will select and present a topic of personal expertise.

Participants will engage in a distinctive, inspirational day that promotes proper training strategies, effective life skills, and health education to advance and help them reach their goals.

ATTENDING ELITE ATHLETES WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN JUNE 2018

Each Cast Member will Receive: • The opportunity to help those affected by cancer • The opportunity to honor loved ones diagnosed with cancer • Health & wellness education presentations • Complimentary passes to the elite athlete exhibition • Private meet and greet/photo session with the elite athletes • Private viewing of elite athlete on ice practice session

How to Participate Skaters will register online at skateforhope.org REGISTRATION WILL BE OPEN MAY 1 — JULY 27, 2018. A $275, non-tax deductible participation fee is required with online registration.

Creating a Fundraising Page Participants may also choose to create a fund raising page to support the work and mission of Skate for Hope. Fundraising pages may honor a loved one & cancer survivor in the participant’s life. Creating a fundraising page is not required but deeply appreciated. All fundraisers will be thanked and recognized on the ice by the elite athletes at our Day With Champions event and the top five fundraisers will be presented with an award.
