The area of the Poznań Fair is an area in a key location in relation to the city center. Today, this area is closed to ordinary people and causes problems with communication and on social background. The surroundings of this area suffer from this isolation that affects the surroundings. From its beginnings, the center of Poznań shifts westwards in relation to earlier locations. At this point, we lack space for another center, which is currently located in the former castle district. But we have a fair area that is just waiting for redevelopment because the trade fair itself does not need such a large area. A multi-functional footbridge routed in the air connects the current center with its new version. It will contain exhibition and service spaces. Mark’s Square is becoming the new center of Poznań. The fair does not lose exhibition space due to the new pavilion and the restoration of those that are currently used as warehouses. The new footbridge network created over time enriches the way the fairgrounds are used. The spaces between the pavilions gain value through the level of footbridges, also green floods this space. Due to the impulse of the fair, the neglected space around is supplemented. A clear connection between the quarters and alternative walking and cycling routes are created. This part of the city is gaining new value and allows for further development of the city.

whole city

Our design idea was to create a district of the city of Tabriz that apart from being a great vibrant place to live will minimize the negative effects of the serious problem of todays Iran, which are earthquakes. Our aim was to create an oasis in which people, living in the city, during the movements of the earth’s crust will be able to find shelter, receive basic medical care, and wait calmly for a period of recovery from this tragedy. A great advantage of the designed area is the fact that in everyday life it functions as an organic part of the compact urban fabric, providing many jobs, modern educational facilities, numerous green areas and residential buildings. Within its borders it contains all the buildings necessary for people’s everyday life, so it can transform into an autonomous unit in times of crisis without any problems. Many of the objects change their functions so as to best suit the current needs at that time. A very large part of them turns into hospitals, accommodation facilities, canteens or warehouses. In addition, numerous green areas gain the function of evacuation points where people can gather and wait together for the worst moments during an earthquake. Particularly noteworthy in the project are the residential facilities, which, thanks to their original construction, allow to create a district coherent in terms of image, at the same time giving every resident the opportunity to expand their house as they want. Thanks to this treatment, we want to draw attention to how important in the Arab culture is originality and difference, so that the visual image of Arab cities appears to be extremely unique. In the very dense and sometimes cramped urban fabric, it is difficult to find two exactly identical houses, which proves the great diversity and freedom in shaping the architecture. In addition, thanks to their construction on high pillars, we gain a very large number of shaded green areas, necessary, among others, for children’s games or spending free time with the neighbors. The detached houses comes in three sizes - 4, 3, 2 persons. They have the same construction as the single family houses. Thay can be joined together to create longer forms. All of them have outdoor corridors and can be expanded like the single houses. All the buildings in the project area will be constructed in the technology preventing the negative impact of seismic waves spreading during the earthquake. The exact operating diagram of the technology used is on the boards and shows exactly which building elements are responsible for avoiding building disasters. We decided to preserve some of the existing building and incorporate them into new fabric to strengthen the place identity and lower the overall ecological impact of the development. The roads greed is kept simple to provide clear orientation for newcoomers and in case of danger it insures that no one will get lost due to complicated road system.

The steps are a project that evolved from the place where it stands. Szelag garden is a public space for local community. Greatly green area has a big advantage over the other parts of the plot, it has a great view on the river but the best can be admired about 2,5 metres above ground. Other characteristic element of the spot is the slope that goes down to the water, it drives our eyes to it. Our structure consist of two joined stairs made from plywood. It has three zones, one to conteplate and admire the river. Second is a place to sit and talk with others. The third is a cave located on the secluded side, a place to sit, relax and watch the nature in front of you.

whole city

Byczyna is a small city in the rural area of opolskie voivodeship. Its good times are long behind. The main problems are among others depopulation of the centre areas, unfavourable age pyramid and lack of fund for revitalization of the heart areas witch are the most valuable in the city. New developements ends on single family houses without any general plan witch resulats in total chaos and drive of urban sprawl. The city consists of the mentioned old city witch dates back to medieval times , the second part of the city is a big developement of a single family houses and some block of flats. On the plan we can clearly see the developing main access roads. The project aims to give a impuls for the future develoment of the city to the north area and to give a strong impact on the city park with a great herritage. Revitalisation of this park along with some new buildings in the northern part are the key elements of the project. It assume building of block of flats, terraced houses and some single family homes. The architecture should be down to earth and adequate to the place. The other goals are the least affect on the nature and to give a new places for the local comunity to grow. One of the element of the project is a viewing platform near the city wall that could be a great tourist attraction and can give a completly new perspective of the city. Next, there are two bridges over the wall to provide shorter comuting time from the new part of the city to the city center.

Areas in the centers of the districts of large cities have the greatest value. This sentence is not only about material conditions, but also about identity and city-forming. This is where public life goes on and social relationships are built. The district of the city of Poznań (Główna) has a very clearly marked center, and yet it remains undeveloped and left alone. It is influenced by many factors, but above all by passivity, land division, private ownership, lack of planning, and thus spatial chaos and visible space divisions. Currently, the center is created by Główna Street, from the east market to Nadolnik Street. It is a space occupied mainly by a heavily used road despite the existing beltway. The building quarter east of the market is occupied to a large extent by garages and small enterprises. This happens in the very center of the district, which was once a separate urban entity. It is proposed to organize the buildings in the said quarter by demolishing the buildings inadequate for the center of the district and supplementing it in missing places. The idea of dividing the frontage buildings into buildings with former ownership limits was adopted. Two buildings, one residential and one that would have a social function for future residents were introduced into the interior of the quarter. The solution to the problem of cars is planned by introducing one common underground car park for the whole establishment. It would cover an area of about 1/3 of a quarter. The market would regain its original function. A center would be created which is needed because of the rapid development of the district and further development estates. The potential of this district was noticed because of the proximity of the center of Poznań itself. Plans have already been established for the extension of the tram line. The area of special attention in the project is the plot located at the western end of the said quarter. The design idea assumes not closing the quarter, but opening it to the Eastern market. Two blocks are added to the existing frontage development. The aim of not closing the quarter is to increase the public space of the market itself with its interior. The designed buildings will not be overwhelmed with their size, 11 and 14 meters are planned. Two apartments and a commercial space will be built in the lower building. In the higher one, however, six apartments and one service premises, which would have served as its social space until the social building wil be built within the quarter. The two buildings would be connected by underground, where would also be storage rooms, a sauna and a corridor leading to the underground garage.

plot development Located in Opolskie Poland, Bogdańczowice is a small village with interesting layout and history associated with orchands. At the entrance we pass the remains of the apple orchand on the left. This is the area of interest. The plot is 10,0 hectare and has two old orchands. The terrain slopes from right to left with a attitude of around 5,5 meters. The project obtain to build a fruit processing centre in the middle, seat a lot more apple trees and sort of hide the facotry amoung them. The assumption is central and simple, with a big empty area around the building. The factory itself has a simple solid as well, squere base with a round roof on pillars. The main level is devided into the production area (792m2), social areas, entrance to the offices on the upper floors and garrage for the orchand handling. On the second floor there is a office and on the last the CEO office, wih a roof terrace. The office part sort of pop on the roof with the storage tanks.Outside the builing there is a small volume that holds the trash disposal and operational room. The materials and products are delivered and collected with the gates. The ventilation central is located on the roof near the pop up part of the building and then the air is distributed with the ducts under the ceiling . The production line starts with unloading the raw material, it is stored in the containers, then it moves to cleaing machine, then sorted it moves to grinders. Furher the pulp awaits to be heated and preesed. The fresh juice waits in tank to be pasteurised, then it is stored till it is filtrated and evaporated. The ready product is stored in big tanks till it is packed or collected by a cistern truck. Materials used for the contructions are steel frame on pillars with the walls claded with prefabricated panels finished with corrugated steel. In the inside the office and maintanance part is made of concrete in situ. The project is the oposition of being well sitted in the tradition of the village. It is simple form that fullfil the needs of the fruit proccesing center, being an interesting form it is like a ufo in the orchand.
