aving originally been built in 2002, the cabin has consistently been improved over the years with a garage, a 12’ by 24’ addition, and deck added. The kitchen was recently remodeled with granite counters, a new sink, a new dishwasher, backsplash, and under counter LED lighting. A gas range with a 100-gallon propane tank was also installed during this time. Composite shingles have been added to the dormers and the eves of the garage and synthetic stucco was put over the logs. The cabin is serviced with underground utilities and land lines to provide service through all seasons, while a cell tower on Methodist Mountain provides reliable cell service.

Recreation

Silver Creek feeds the 22 ponds and 3 lakes in the community and has native brown and rainbow

trout. The ponds and lakes contain native fish and are also stocked by the association making Silver Creek Lakes one of the finest fisheries in Colorado. The community is a haven for a variety of animals including moose, deer, elk, and bear and a variety of birds can also be spotted such as turkey, bald eagles, golden eagles, osprey, and Canadian geese.

Nature enthusiasts will enjoy the Arkansas River that traverses the Salida Valley, presenting

exceptional opportunities for rafting and fishing. Nearby, adventure seekers can explore mountain biking and ATV trails, including easy access to the Rainbow Trail trailhead merely 4± miles from the property.
