• THIS GROUP HOUSING PROJECT WAS ASSIGNED TO US IN THE VI TH SEMESTER OF B.ARCH ACADAMIC CURRICULUM, IT WAS A GROUP PROJECT .

• THE SITE IS APPROXIMATELY 101 ACRES AND IS SITUATED IN INDORE. THE CLIMATE OF INDORE IS COMPOSITE TYPE WHICH BRINGS VARIOUS CHALLENGES IN THE DESIGNING PART OF THE BUILDING. IT TOOK TREMENDOUS EFFORTS AND VARIOUS DISCUSSION AND ENDLESS REVISIONS IN ACHIEVING A HUMAN FRIENDLY AS WELL AS ENVIRONMENT SOOTHING DESIGN.

• THE PROPOSED GROUP HOUSING DEVELOPMENT PROJECT AIMS TO CREATE A VIBRANT AND SUSTAINABLE LIVING COMMUNITY THAT FOSTERS A SENSE OF BELONGING, ENCOURAGES SOCIAL INTERACTION, AND PROVIDES HIGH-QUALITY RESIDENTIAL SPACES FOR A DIVERSE GROUP OF RESIDENTS.

• THIS SITE PLAN OUTLINES THE DEVELOPMENT OF A GROUP HOUSING SITE SPANNING 100 ACRES IN INDORE, CONSIDERING THE CITY’S CLIMATE AND VARIOUS ESSENTIAL DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS. INDORE EXPERIENCES A SUBTROPICAL CLIMATE WITH HOT SUMMERS AND MILD WINTERS, WHICH HAVE BEEN TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT THROUGHOUT THE PLANNING PROCESS.

• VENTILATION AND AIRFLOW ARE CRITICAL IN MAINTAINING COMFORTABLE INDOOR SPACES. THE SITE PLAN INCORPORATES WELL-PLACED WINDOWS, OPEN SPACES, AND BALCONIES TO ENCOURAGE NATURAL CROSS-VENTILATION, ENSURING A PLEASANT LIVING ENVIRONMENT THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.

• ONE OF THE PROMINENT FEATURES OF THE COMPLEX IS A HIGH-QUALITY VELODROME, DESIGNED TO MEET INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS FOR CYCLING EVENTS. ADDITIONALLY, I HAVE INCORPORATED AN OLYMPIC-STANDARD SWIMMING POOL, ENSURING THAT THE FACILITY ACCOMMODATES AQUATIC SPORTS AS WELL.
