Managing Art Director Weekly Reader Custom Publishing—Reader’s Digest Association, Pleasantville, New York 12.2007–6.2010 Manager of busy art department. Art directed custom created educational programs that help corporations, trade associations, not-for-profits and government agencies target their messages to schools and homes. Created posters, games, activities, teachers’ guides, and websites. Oversaw the creation of multimedia projects, web sites, web-based games and videos. Responsible for establishing and maintaining visual standards for dozens of programs. Supervised and managed a staff of multiple designers, freelance artists and web developers to maintain the high quality of Weekly Reader Publishing standards.
