HITOMI GILLIAM, AIFD Floral Trends Forecast 20l l has been prepared by Hitomi Gilliam, AIFD, Director of Education for Design358. A master floral artist who has unique talents to interpret world trends and human emotions, in this forecast Hitomi articulates new event trends in a breathtaking artistic expression of flowers. Hitomi has been a featured designer at the American Institute of Floral Design’s National Symposium seven times. In 20l l Hitomi will host the Annual Trend Summit Conference along with Kevin Yivisaker, AIFD and the 20l l European Masters Certification Program with Tomas DeBruyne.

With his wife Leanne, David is the co-owner of Floral Design Institute, Inc, a leading floral design education firm with locations in Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington. David’s photography work has graced every edition of the Floral Trends Forecast creating magic on paper and bringing Hitomi’s creations to life. David is an active speaker and educator in the floral industry and is the past General Manager of the Canadian Division of Teleflora.
