STRATEGIC LAND PURCHASER CENTRAL LONDON £ COMPETITIVE REMUNERATION An exciting new position has arisen in the Property Investment team to lead the sourcing and acquiring of strategic land for the Church Commissioners. The Church Commissioners for England manage a high performing investment fund valued at over £6.7 billion to support the work and mission of the Church of England. The role of the Strategic Land Investment team is to promote the Church Commissioners’ land which has development potential. The Strategic Land Portfolio currently comprises over 7,000 acres with significant longer-term potential. The Commissioners are seeking to acquire additional land with long term development potential and require a motivated and talented land purchaser to lead the process within a successful, dynamic and established team.

Proactive identification of strategic land acquisition opportunities. Developing and maintaining close and regular contact with agents and land owners to promote awareness of the Church Commissioners’ commitment to acquire strategic land. Detailed appraisal of acquisition opportunities and close working with consultants to ensure sufficient pre-purchase due diligence. Devising and leading negotiation strategies with vendors and their agents through to completion. Preparation and presentation of written and oral reports to the Property Investment Department and the investment committee. Acting with integrity as an ambassador for the Church Commissioners and promoting a clear understanding of their acquisition strategy.

Highly credible and motivated individual, capable of working under your own initiative as part of a team. Commercially astute whilst demonstrating integrity and enthusiasm together with excellent communication skills. Possess effective negotiation skills coupled with a tenacity to deliver. Well connected in the strategic land market and adept at building relationships.
