“As a construction manager, my key roles included general day-to-day management of the construction site ensuring Mace’s health and safety standards were met and liaison with key neighbours to the site. This time spent working on a construction site allowed me to understand the applications of civil engineering theory but also gave me a good foundation of knowledge about the practicalities of building.” April Gresham Project management, year one graduate trainee
