Roads As mobility is increasingly shifting towards private motorised transport, the road in all its forms - from access roads to motorways - constitutes the most important element of a modern traffic and transport system. Today, the design and construction of roads not only requires expert qualification but also special environmental awareness, and as such constitutes an essential prerequisite for the feasibility of road and motorway projects. Adhering to this principle, YASCE and the ILF Group have rendered design and consulting services for many successful road construction projects in the past years. We ensure overall project success by integrating qualified experts, available mostly in-house, into the design team. Other focal points of road projects are the organisation and conduct of public relations activities that ILF carries out together with experienced professionals after contract award.

The project runs through environmentally sensitive areas and therefore was subject to a thorough environmental evaluation and route selection procedure.
Urban Transport Systems In order to meet future needs and to avoid such problems as traffic jams, additional traffic generated by the search for parking spaces, as well as noise and air pollution, many large cities today promote the use of underground and rapid transit systems. On account of the generally limited space available, such systems frequently require sophisticated engineering structures (tunnels, bridges, etc.). Not least due to the complex permit application procedures and the many different disciplines, the demands on interdisciplinary project management are very high. In order to be able perform the engineering services required for the realisation of such projects in a professional manner, our Group draws upon its pool of qualified employees who have many years of experience in construction projects at home and abroad. Thus YASCE and the ILF Group are able to provide all engineering services needed for civil works, electromechanical equipment and rail systems.

HO CHI MINH CITY LINE 2
WARSAW METRO LINE 2, POLAND
Consulting services for the design, procurement and supervision of implementing the project ho chi minh city metro line 2.
Poland (together with the Ukraine) was awarded the hosting of the European Football Championship (UEFA) in 2012. One of the host cities will be Warsaw with its “National Stadium” which will be extended to approx. 70,000 seats now under construction.
Metro Line 2 is one of six planned lines of the MRT network to be implemented by the Management Authority for Urban Railways of Ho Chi Minh City (MAUR). The line starts at the northern limits of Ben Thanh Station which will be designed and constructed under a separate contract. The route comprises 9.315 km of underground section, including 10 underground stations, and 0.778 km of elevated track, including 1 elevated station. In addition there is a spur connection of 0.997 km to the proposed depot at Tham Luong. In future it is planned that Line 2 will be extended northwards to An Suong, and southwards beneath the Saigon River to Thu Thiem.
Originally due to this reason, it was considered to be a requirement to ensure a modern and vital mass transport system for Warsaw which would be in operation at the beginning of the European Football Championship 2012. The contract value amounts to 750 million €. The middle section of the Metro Line 2 in Warsaw from the station Rondo Daszynskiego to the station Dworczec Wilenski with a length of approx 6.5 km was constructed by use of Tunnel Boring Machines (TBM). The whole section is below ground and underpasses the river Vistula connecting the Warsaw City centre with the Praga district. The connection to the existing Metro Line 1 was also constructed by TBM.
Tunnels and Caverns The rapid development of our settlement areas and the protection of our environment make it necessary to build more traffic routes and industrial plants underground. This avoids impacts created by additional buildings and structures above ground. A decisive factor for the success of a project is choosing a technically safe construction method and ensuring the greatest possible economic efficiency at the same time. YASCE and the ILF Group have, for more than three decades, been entrusted with engineering services for outstanding projects. All in all we have been involved in the design and implementation of more than 1000 km of tunnel structures. YASCE and the ILF Group’s scope of services in the tunnels and caverns field includes:
