EVENTS The DNMG offers many options for your business to place yourself in front of UNL students. Our events drive a lot of foot traffic and can produce warm leads on the spot. The most high-traffic of these media is our extensive events list. With a diverse calendar of events for the upcoming school year, what better way to get in touch with the niche student market.
JOB FAIR
Our largest event, usually held during the fall semester, highlights local part-time jobs that are targeted towards students at UNL. This is a must-attend event to gain traction and talk to potential candidates for your company!
HOUSING FAIR
During the school year, we hold two housing fairs for clients to be part of, one in October and one in March. For students, mid-October is the time to start signing leases and looking for housing options for the next school year and March is the perfect time to see what is available for the summer!
PET THE STRESS AWAY
College can be stressful - that’s why we hold Pet the Stress Away multiple times during the school year. Around finals time, we team up with local animal shelters to bring dogs to campus and cheer up stressed out students. Sponsoring this event allows us to continue the joy.
CURIOUS CORNHUSKER
We launched a new initiative called Curious Cornhusker back in 2018 and we have had a great response. In addition to the form on DailyNebraskan.com that allows students to ask questions about UNL, we hold mini events once a month to allow the students to ask us the questions in person. As the sponsor of this popular event, we will pass out your swag, products, and information to students for you. It doesn’t get any easier to reach college students than that!
BIG RED WELCOME STREET FEST
The Big Red Street Festival solidifies the fun of Welcome Week on campus. On the Sunday before classes start, campus organizations, vendors, and games are set up in front of Memorial Stadium. This event is put on by New Student Enrollment and welcomes both new and returning students to join in and visit the booths set up.

BILLING Advertisers with approved credit will be billed the last day of the month. Payment is due by the 15th of the month following publication/run time. A 1.33% finance charge will be added to each month an account is past due and advertisements will not be accepted until the account is paid.

MISCELLANEOUS All rates are net. Unfulfilled contracts and commitments will be rebilled at the earned rate.
MULTI-PLATFORM DISCOUNT An effective media mix is crucial for success in this multichannel marketing world. When you include at least three of the above platforms in your DNMG marketing plan, you’ll receive an additional 10% of your entire campaign. *You must secure an approved plan prior to receiving the discount. SOFTWARE TRANSFER We prefer print ads to be PDFs. Minimum 300 DPI and a minimum rule of 0.25 points (if used). For Digital ads, a PNG format is prefered with at least 72 DPI.
