Charity BiKE ridE! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Go cyclists! Right now, 20 brave young people are cycling 1,400 km from Lands End, the most south-western part of the UK, to John O’ Groats, in the very north of Scotland. They’ve been on the road since the 1st of July, and are hoping to complete the trip in just 16 days. That means nearly 100 km of cycling a day! Check out our cyclists’ blogs here.

Fiona’s blog

Hello, everyone! The cycle ride is going well. I’ve had a few aches and pains, but luckily I haven’t hurt myself or anything. The weather has been better than expected, too. There’s been a bit of drizzle, but no heavy rain. We’ve cycled through the most amazing countryside in Scotland, although there have been some really steep hills! Tonight we’re not going to camp – we’re going to stay with Lara’s aunt and uncle in Glasgow! I can’t wait for a big meal, a hot bath and a comfortable bed. Thanks to everyone who has sponsored me. I’ve already raised more than £6,000 and this is really going to help the charity, Children in Need.
