Early to bed, early to rise makes you healthy, wealthy and wise When it comes to a healthy lifestyle, we usually think about eating healthy food, having a proper diet, exercising ... But as a matter of fact there is one more very important factor that helps towards living a healthy life, which is .... having enough sleep. Many people think that sleeping is a waste of time. During this time, we can read a book, play computer games, surf the Internet, clean, wash up or watch TV. However, recent research clearly indicates that if you want to be healthy and happy, you should get enough sleep. When you sleep, your body recovers and the negative effects of stress are reduced. You can concentrate better later in the day and feel more relaxed. Sleep also lowers the risk of certain diseases, such as heart problems, depression or cancer. Scientists say that we should sleep from seven to nine hours a day, but the length of sleep that you need is different for each individual person. Also, the time when we go to sleep counts – those who go to bed earlier usually sleep longer and are more relaxed later! a. Only a proper diet and doing sports are important if you want to stay healthy.
