Greece
Easter in Greece is the biggest holid ay of the year and is ev en more importan t than Christmas. Families and friends meet up for Easter Day. They eat lamb and have a bi g celebration party with food, wine, music and dancing all da y long. They say “Kalo Paska! Happy Eas ter!”
Spain
Easter in Spain is a very impo rtant celebration. On Pa lm Sunday most pe ople go to mass in the m orning. Many proc essions take place all around the country and pe ople carry statues covere d in gold, silver an d lots of flowers. The bi ggest and most fa mous processions are in Seville.
