Procedure: Warm-up
(10 min)
Ask students to read a short text about Easter traditions in Poland and complete the text.
(5 min)
Write on the whiteboard “Easter time?”. Ask students to think of any associations they have with Easter time. Write some of the ideas you can hear (sample answers: eggs, food, church, meat, chocolate rabbits, chocolate eggs, going for walks, family meetings, etc.). Explain that they are going to read about Easter traditions in different countries. Exercise 1

(10-15 min)
Explain to students that they are now going to write a letter to a pen friend in England describing Easter traditions in Poland. The letter should be about 100 words. If you run out of time this activity may be done at home as individual homework.
