Class Enemy After Nigel Williams, adapted and directed by Haris Pašovi East West Theatre Company
Performed in Bosnian with English supertitles In a rundown classroom a group of foul mouthed high school students conduct their own lessons as they wait for teachers who never arrive. Chairs fly, emotions run high and violence erupts as the pupils tell their dramatic, bleak and poignant stories with energy, humour and vulnerability.

Dylan Moran Dylan Moran, the unpredictable, bizarre, elegiac, often cruel but above all painfully funny star of Black Books, Shaun Of The Dead and Run Fat Boy Run will be visiting macrobert for a very special preview show prior to his highly anticipated Autumn tour: 'What It Is'.
Amada Based on a short story by Chilean writer Isabel Allende, this beautiful show uses three actors, one Chilean guitarist and Basque singer Nerea Bello to re-create the colour, passion, sensuality and emotional landscape of Allende’s tale Amada. Centering on one woman’s journey through a tragically touched life, Amada is a beautiful homage to the dignity found within the oldest profession in the world.

Always To Be Here
In the toilet pipes of a desolate tenement lurks an oily secret that is about to tear its tiny community apart. Literally.
Scotland’s Tenors are back on the road again with their all-new Always To Be Here Tour. The powerful tenor voices of Alan Beck, Jamie MacDougall and Ivan Sharpe, along with Music Director Michael Barnett, bring you a highly entertaining evening of great Scottish and popular music.
“a performance of truly extraordinary beauty and profundity, it’s probably the most important new dance-work to be created in Britain since the millennium” The Observer Dance’s next big thing - Hofesh Shechter’s work was recently seen by millions of viewers when he created the opening dance sequence for E4’s hit TV series Skins. In Your Rooms summons a succession of lightening fast images from nine dancers - an intense, tribal experience to a thunder of drums. In Uprising seven men emerge from the shadows to bombard the stage with furious energy in a performance that will leave you buzzing!
At the centre of it all is little Malcolm Biggar, a nine year old with a passion for his skateboard and a growing suspicion that perhaps his parents do not always have his best interests at heart…

Shakespeare’s R&J
The Other
Catherine Wheels and The National Theatre of Scotland
Something Wicked This Way Comes
By Joe Calarco Produced by The Original Theatre Company and South Hill Park Arts Centre
The Other explores a woman’s struggle for equality and empowerment in the aftermath of World War Two.
From the company who brought you a cutting-edge, Tarantino-inspired Macbeth comes Shakespeare’s tale of tragic love and family feuds with a big difference. Set in the 1950’s at an exclusive boy’s boarding school, four pupils run into the chapel late one night in a bid to escape from their repressive school routines and begin reading the story of Romeo and Juliet aloud. School rules are shattered as the students come to understand the real price of challenging fate and the true dangers of forbidden love.
Two dancers embark on an emotional journey. A lyrical duet becomes a searching solo, breaking apart and repeatedly coming together as the two search for an accommodation of love, identity and respect.
“Prepare for a bracing and brilliant shock to the system… an inspired new theatrical take on this early masterpiece” The Independent “R+J is a gem, the most inventive reimagining of a classic in years” The Wall Street Journal Monday 29 September Tuesday 30 September Wednesday 1 October

A fantastic book and now a new show, Something Wicked this Way Comes is a deliciously scary adventure about friendship & innocence. For Jim and Will, the lure of the funfair is irresistible. They soon discover that a sinister secret lies behind the smoke and mirrors and the carnival holds a dark desire to destroy the whole town. Only Jim, Will and Will’s mild-mannered dad can save the day.
