Picarouto Viewpoint

Located in the Forest Park of Pico das Pedras along the road that connects to Achada do Teixeira, the viewpoint of Picarouto displays a magnificent view from São Jorge to Ponta de São Lourenço, with emphasis on the rock formation of Penha d'Águia , in Porto da Cruz. Here, one can view the Massif Central Mountain.

The road is open every day between 7am and 9pm.
