Madeira : Best Island Destination in the World

Madeira was again recognized by the World Travel Awards (WTA) as the best island destination in the world. This international award was given for the sixth consecutive year since 2015 until 2020. The people of Madeira are grateful to all those who voted for Madeira as the best island in the world. The honor of being elected sixth consecutive times the best island destination in the world is a great honor that is only possible through the recognition of all who visit Madeira and participated in the vote.

São já sete os anos em que a World Travel Awards considera a pérola do atlântico como líder na categoria de Melhor Destino Insular da Europa. Foi em 2013 a estreia da Madeira nesta lista de destinos insulares da Europa sagrando-se vencedora nos 7 anos seguintes, perdendo-o apenas no ano de 2015 onde a vencedora Sardenha levou a melhor.
