Heather Posten
Workshop Chair of ICON11 The Illustration Conference
Video producer and online education developer based in Seattle, Washington. She’s worked in the world of video production for more than 15 years, on a range of projects including documentaries, commercials, television and museum pieces. In recent years her work has turned towards content creation, specifically focused on art and design education development. As a person who struggled to stay within the lines of her own education journey, she has felt a personal drive to help empower others to find their creative voice and confidence through the development of creative classes and workshops. She works with creative professionals to design workshops specific to their area of expertise, and has developed and taught her own classes as well. This all bodes well for ICON11 as Heather is our workshop chair. She’ll be organizing running workshop programming during the conference.
