Location- Salt Lake City, Utah Project Description- Design the interior space of the Historic Wooten Hotel in the assigned city. This was done by researching Salt Lake City’s culture for the design while maintaining historical aspects throughout the building. Concept- Design an accessible, luxurious, lodge-like hotel that will accommodate the many different clientele using this resort. The Salt Lake City Mountains create inspiration for the winter themed HYATT hotel. Software- Revit, Photoshop Project Type- Individual Project

Location- Cedar Falls, Iowa Project Description- Renovate a former grocery store into a LEED accredited furniture showroom. Concept- Design an aesthetically pleasing showroom that will reflect Hon’s values and furniture. The design of the showroom is to be functional and constructive in a way that allows customers to come through and shop but also allows employers to have their private office spaces. Software- Revit, Photoshop Project Type- Team Project Notes- LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a rating system used to evaluate the environmental performance of a building and encourage sustainable design. LEED Points were achieved by- using natural lighting, implenting bicylce racks, providing showers and locker space, using water efficient plumbing fixtures, and by using low-emitting materials.
