Express Entry is a selection system, designed to choose skilled workers for immigration to CANADA. The Express Entry system is the first step that, the immigrants need to complete for the enrollment. BASED ON THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA, THERE ARE DIFFERENT CATEGORIES THROUGH WHICH THE IMMIGRANTS CAN APPLY, SUCH AS:


1. FEDERAL SKILLED WORKER PROGRAM This program is for skilled workers with non-Canadian work experience who want to immigrate to Canada permanently. Candidates must meet several requirements to apply with the Federal Skilled Worker Program such as, a minimum of 1-year full-time work or an equal in part-time in the 3 last years. Candidates who have done volunteer work or unpaid internship cannot be considered.

2. FEDERAL SKILLED TRADES PROGRAM The Federal Skilled Trades Program is for skilled workers who want to become permanent residents based on being qualified in a skilled trade. Candidates must have at least 2 years of full-time work experience (or an equal amount of part-time work experience) in a skilled trade within the 5 years before you apply. You should plan to live outside the Province of Quebec, since it has its own laws to select skilled workers.


3. CANADIAN EXPERIENCE CLASS The Canadian Experience Class is for skilled workers who are having Canadian work experience and want to become permanent residents. Candidates must have at least 1 year of skilled work experience in Canada, in the last 3 years before you apply.

4. PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAM (PNP) In order to fill the skilled labor force Canada’s provinces and territories can nominate people to immigrate to Canada. These candidates should have the required skills, education and work experience to contribute to the economy of that province or territory.


5. DOCUMENTS YOU NEED CERTAIN DOCUMENTS AT DIFFERENT STAGES OF THE CANADA VISA EXPRESS ENTRY PROCESS. SUCH AS, PASSPORT OR TRAVEL DOCUMENT.

PROVINCIAL NOMINATION. (IF YOU HAVE ONE)

JOB OFFER LETTER FROM AN EMPLOYER IN CANADA. (IF YOU ARE HAVING ONE)

6. SUBMISSION OF YOUR PROFILE Once you submit your profile, the eligible candidates will enter into Canada visa express entry pool. The candidates will be ranked in the pool using a pointsbased system, which is calledComprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score . Your CRS score is based on the information in your profile such as Skills, Education, Language ability, Work experience, and other factors.

7. RECEIVE AN INVITATION AND APPLY FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE (PR) The PR invitations will be sent to the candidates with the highest CRS scores in the pool. If you receive the invitation to apply, you’ll have 60 days to submit your application for permanent residence. Most complete applications that have all the supporting documents will be processed in 6 months or less.
